Special to ag-IP-news Agency
AMMAN- HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org), welcomed a number of young Palestinian innovators who discussed their inventions as part of the non-profit ‘Palestinian Innovation Journey’ initiative.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed that he is proud with the young talents that continue and strive to innovate, and contribute to society, despite their difficult circumstances and the political instability of their surroundings.

During the meeting the young talents received  the opportunity to present their  inventions, some of which included a moving chair and smart glasses for the disabled, a Printed Circuit Board Prototyping Machine, and a ‘Smart’ school project − which includes an electronic educational system.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh was pleased with the inventions and indicated that TAG-Org will provide these young talents with a free-of-charge course on business development – as a form of motivation to pursue what they do best and further conceptualize and develop their ideas. TAG-Org will also offer Trademarks, Patents and Intellectual Property Rights to protect the innovators’ rights.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Delegation Mr. Sami Maroua− the Head of Bethlehem Directorate of the Palestinian Ministry of Education− expressed his appreciation to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, and conveyed gratitude on behalf of HE Dr. Sabri Saidam, the Palestinian Minister of Education and Higher Education. He stressed on the importance of protecting Intellectual Property Rights to protect the rights of innovators in excelling on a global scale.

TAG-Org consultants also advised the innovators on how to conduct feasibility studies before progressing on to the next stages of developing these inventions and projects, and offered to provide guidance in creating their initial business plans.

This ‘Palestinian Innovation Journey’ initiative works with both the private and public sector in focusing on capacity building of the young generation, encouraging their innovative talents, providing resources and guiding them towards success. This initiative supports young inventors in the initial phase of developing their projects through connecting them with a network of business executives, investors, and other Jordanian entities such as the University of Jordan.
