Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Patronizes JOrchestra Solo Concert

AMMAN - Under the patronage of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman of the Jordanian National Orchestra Association’s (JOrchestra) Board of Trustees and in the presence of HRH Princess Dana Firas, the Association held a musical concert dedicated to the talent of JOrchestra's soloists, at Talal Abu- Ghazaleh University Forum. 

The evening provided a great opportunity for the audience to be better acquainted with JOrchestra's brilliant soloists, who performed a variety of musical pieces, including famous works by Schubert, Tchaikovsky, Massenet, Amirov, Stamitz and others.

JOrchestra’s soloists included: Anna Maria Matuszchak, Obeida Madi, Abid Dukhan (violin), Ali Shawki (Clarinet), Laurentiu Baciu (Oboe), Hind Sabanekh (Trumpet), Mohammed Taha (Percussion), Anjelica Zamfir (Bassoon), Lana  Abu Sbeih (Viola), Ala’a Takrouri (Flute), Galyna Pryklonska (Soprano), and Mohammed Sidiq (Piano).

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his pride in the work of all the JOrchestra’s members, who have devoted their time and efforts to enhance their skills and convey their enthusiasm to the public.

His Excellency said, "There is no doubt that there are wonderful individual initiatives by members of JOrchestra who work relentlessly to please us all.”

The Association organizes two concerts a month, each concert with a different theme to satisfy classical music fans and promote openness to different global cultures.

The mission of the Jordanian National Orchestra Association is to put Jordan on the world music map, market the countries’ musical achievements, develop employment opportunities for Jordanian musicians, and promote cultural exchange. It also aims to contribute to the promotion of tourism in Jordan by organizing a variety of artistic events and initiatives taking benefit of the archeological and tourist sites and attractions in Jordan.
