‘Abu-Ghazaleh Global University’ Opens Registration for Journalism Diploma

AMMAN – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global University (TAG-GU), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), launched its professional program ‘Journalism Diploma’ to enhance the knowledge and skills in the field of journalism and media, as well as to provide outstanding educational experiences that match labor market’s needs.

The Program covers several topics including an introduction to journalism, perception of news, fake news and alternative facts, English language for journalists, films, photos, and historical interpretation in the 20th Century. That is in addition to other topics such as media ethics and governance, public relations, and audience outreach.

The self-study Diploma will be conducted through the free Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). During the course, students will present research papers that will be "digitally" discussed for an hour with experts in the journalism field at the end of each topic. At the end of the Diploma, the student will receive an accredited certificate from TAG-GU.
