AMMAN - Aiming to offer paramount protection for trademarks of its local and foreign clients across many industries from small businesses to major national and international corporations, Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) announced in a press release that it is currently providing the Trademark Clearinghouse (TMCH) service in various countries.
AGIP is offering this service through Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Domain Names (TAG-Domains), a subsidiary of AGIP and an ICANN Accredited Registrar.
What TAG-Domains offers is checking the validity of the trademark and allowing the registered trademarks to sit in a global database. After verification, the trademark holder can register its mark as domain name during the Sunrise Period. During 60 days after the Sunrise Period, TAG-Domains will notify the trademark holder when someone else registers a domain name in any of the new gTLDs that matches his/her records in the TMCH.
Relying on its experience in the domain names field, TAG-domains will provide its clients with the right strategy for the protection of their trademarks.
Interested clients are kindly requested to contact TAG-Domains through the following address:

Trademark Clearinghouse (TMCH) was established by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) as a global database of verified data on trademarks. The TMCH is open to any holder of eligible trademarks whether a private individual or company. The service is introduced to increase protection and reduce costs for right owners who need to protect their trademarks.
