AGIP National Development Executive Director Elected to AIPPI Communication Committee

LONDON – Mr. Motasem Abu-Ghazaleh, Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) National Development Executive Director, and Vice-Chair - TAG.Global Management Board, has been elected to the Statutory Committee – Communication Committee of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) during the AIPPI World Congress held in London, September 15-18, 2019.

AIPPI’s members are actively interested in Intellectual Property protection at a national and international levels including lawyers, patent and trademark agents or attorneys, representatives from industrial corporations as well as judges, academics, scientists and engineers.

Mr. Abu-Ghazaleh was elected during the major general assembly plenary session of the AIPPI World Congress for his outstanding work in the IP field, becoming the only Arab IP expert who holds such a significant position. He has been an active and ambitious member in various IP organizations and entities contributing to the building and the integration of developmental aspects into Intellectual Property policies.   

Commenting on this achievement, Mr. Abu-Ghazaleh said: “I am really honored to join the Communication Committee of AIPPI, as this is the first time this membership goes to someone from the Arab world. This appreciation is a testament to the trust the international IP organizations places in AGIP. We will maintain such lead and recognition under the supervision of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global."

“This recognition also reinforces AGIP’s faith in the importance of exchanging expertise and strengthening ties with international IP organizations and entities," he added.
